ABSTRACT

This survey was carried out to clarify the distribution of vascular plants in Mt. Kookmang, Chungju, Chungbuk. The vascular plants, collected from 20 to 21 July, consist of total 422 taxa; 94 families, 281 genera, 368 species, 3 subspecies, 43 varieties and 8 forms. Among them, Korean endemic plants of this area were 8 taxa, rare and endangered species were 3 taxa, and the special plant species based on floral region by Ministry of Environment were 37 taxa. The naturalized plants were 16 taxa, Urban Index (UI) was 6.0%.
