We surveyed on the beetles diversity of Mt. Boryeon located in Chungju city, Chungbuk Province, during July 24 to 26, 2006. Through this survey period, we found 79 species of 22 families from 4 sites. Especially the population of Prosopocoilus inclinatus of the family Lucanidae was relatively abundant in Mt. Boryeon. This species are distributed broadly in Korea as living in oak tree forests mainly. But It is not easy to find in wild nature recently. So the detailed management on this area is asked immediately.
