ABSTRACT

This survey was carried out to clarify the distribution of vascular plants in Mt. Boryeon, Chungju. The vascular plants, collected from 24 to 28 July, 14 August 2006, consist of total 432 taxa; 89 families, 275 genera, 379 species, 49 varieties and four forms. Among them, Korean endemic plants of this area were 7 taxa, Rare and Endangered specis were 4 taxa, and the special plant species based on floral region by Ministry of Environment were 40 taxa. The naturalized plants were 18 taxa, therefore, Urban Index (UI) was 6.8%.
