ABSTRACT

Mt. Inwang is located in Seoul among Sajik-dong, Ogin-dong, Nusang-dong at Jongno-gu and Hongje-dong, Hyeonjeo-dong at Seodaemun-gu. The investigated vascular plants consist of total 306 taxa: 28 varieties, 278 species, 197 genera, 77 families, 41 orders, 5 classes. As for the useful plants, there were 148 taxa of edible ones(40.5%), 79 taxa of medicinal ones(21.6%), 40 taxa of ornamental ones(11.0%), 71 taxa of industrial ones(19.5%), 27 taxa of afforestation ones(7.4%) and 1 taxa of poisonous ones(0.3%) respectively. As the above results, there are abundant plant resources in this area. But it needed to protect this area, because destruction factors of vegetation such as vegetation disturbance and many mountain climbers etc.
